We know memorizing scripture is essential to our Christian walk … but did you ever think about memorizing verses on money?<\/em><\/p>\n

Believe it or not, there are over 2,000 scriptures relating to money and possessions … that’s more than heaven and hell combined!<\/p>\n

Jesus continuously mentioned money and possessions throughout His ministry on earth. Knowing\u00a0that this was so important to Him … don’t you think we should take it seriously too?<\/p>\n

After all, money affects our everyday lives constantly, and we want to be equipped to handle each and every situation as if we were acting on behalf of our Lord.<\/p>\n

Here are 10 verses on money to memorize this year (or maybe even this month!)<\/p>\n

1. Luke 16:10<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cOne who is\u00a0faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.”<\/p>\n

2. Proverbs 24:3-4<\/strong><\/p>\n

“By\u00a0wisdom a house is built,<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>and by understanding it is established;<\/span><\/span>
\nby knowledge the rooms are filled<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>with all\u00a0precious and pleasant riches.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Proverbs 11:1\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

“A false balance is an abomination to the\u00a0Lord<\/span>,<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>but a just weight is his delight.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4. Hebrews 13:5<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Keep your life\u00a0free from love of money, and\u00a0be content with what you have, for he has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.'”<\/p>\n

5. Romans 13:8<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for\u00a0the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.”<\/p>\n

6. Proverbs 21:5<\/strong><\/p>\n

“The plans of\u00a0the diligent lead surely to abundance,<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>but everyone who is\u00a0hasty comes\u00a0only to poverty.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

7. \u00a0Deuteronomy 15:10<\/strong><\/p>\n

“You shall give to him freely, and\u00a0your heart shall not be grudging when you give to him, because\u00a0for this the\u00a0Lord<\/span>\u00a0your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you undertake.”<\/p>\n

8. Galatians 6:7<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for\u00a0whatever one sows, that will he also reap.”<\/p>\n

9. Proverbs 6:6-8<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Go to\u00a0the ant, O\u00a0sluggard;<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>consider her ways, and\u00a0be wise.<\/span><\/span>
\nWithout having any chief,<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>officer, or ruler,<\/span><\/span>
\nshe prepares her bread\u00a0in summer<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0gathers her food in harvest.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

10. Matthew 6:31-32<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Therefore do not be anxious, saying, \u2018What shall we eat?\u2019 or \u2018What shall we drink?\u2019 or \u2018What shall we wear?\u2019<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>For\u00a0the Gentiles seek after all these things, and\u00a0your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
