The other day, one of my friends was telling me about a consignment sale she went to, finding all kinds of clothes she loved for a fraction of the price. Although I had been to a couple consignment sales, this one sounded very promising, and I couldn’t wait to take a look for myself!
I wanted to share this with all of you because this is a great way to shop for high end items without paying the full price.
There were tons of designer brands there, and what I always keep my eye out for are items that look brand new. It isn’t hard to find these kind of things at consignment sales, because many of the things they carry are brand new (because of partnerships).
Check out the pictures below to see what I found…
Adorable Heart Necklace!
Only $3.00!
Perfect Beige Work Skirt…
$5.00! (from the Limited)
Comfy Grey Hoodie..
$15.00 (BRAND NEW)
The website for this company “Dress on a Dime” is http://www.dressonadime.net/
It’s also fun to entertain the idea of becoming a seller yourself, if you have some clothes that are gently used and you know women would love. I haven’t looked into this yet, but I will and hopefully post about it later on!
We would love to hear if you have found any local consignment sales. Leave a comment for those that might be in your area.
I wish I knew about this years ago, I would go every single time they were here!

I love consignment! You cannot beat the prices and the quality. Jeff and I had the opportunity to visit my home town of San Jose, and visit my favorite consignment shop, Crossroads Trading. They have fun trends and vintage clothing and high end labels for a fraction of the cost in store! Picked up a couple of Pendelton wool shirts for a camping trip, all together 20 bucks! I did some research and they actually have more locations, many in Southern California! We need to make a girl trip there (but they actually have mens clothing too!)
